while the oakies freeze along with california's crops, a new island was discovered in greenland because so much glacial ice has melted that for the first time we are seeing the land (or lack of). oh and make sure you make it to the beach soon cause there are record warm ocean temperatures right now.

but if youre going to go checking this stuff out yourself up in the arctic circle, dont expect to see too many polar bears. they are dying off fast. at least thats what our government is saying, and of course they are always right:

The Bush administration has decided to propose listing the polar bear as threatened under the Endangered Species Act, putting the U.S. government on record as saying that global warming could drive one of the world's most recognizable animals out of existence.

You know theyre right. they have the widsom and compassion and support of the big oil companies on their side. like Exxon and Shell. i heart exxon. if i get on their good side maybe they will give me money. it seems like they have a lot of it to hand out. and even if they wont give me $16 million at least theyve lowered the gas prices recently. "everybody is loving it." well, naturally. i think i might get that hummer after all. screw the hydrid prius. they cost more, and there are 30 extra pounds of copper and 22 extra pounds of nickel in a prius. i dont want them using up all the earths resources!
