what a good idea...
but also a sad statement on the status of our society - where dads need a book to be able to teach their boys how to be boys.
i'm not implying that you personally need the book (i know that you could have probably written most of the stuff in there), but so many "men" probably do need it. as a first step, maybe more dads should try "taking the day off" from work and spending it exploring and building and discovering with their sons.

and mothers too should be encouraging their sons to not sit around and play video games as much.
i have to thank my mother for giving me a block of wood, a hammer and a box of nails when i was 3. (though she did it mainly too keep me from tearing apart the house or her garden.) and also for letting me disappear all day on my bike as i got older.
